PILLAR Office Building

The 29,000 m² Pillar Office Building was constructed on Pest’s Dózsa György Street as part of the Váci Street office corridor. The building, consisting of four asymmetrical blocks, has received the LEED Gold green certification. Designed by the ZDA – Zoboki Architectural Office, the building is filled with the latest premium quality, environmentally conscious solutions.
In the design of the Pillar building, it was important not only to meet the investor's and tenants' needs but also to create an office building that harmonizes with its surroundings and is sensitive to the city and its users. The designers achieved this through various architectural solutions, including dynamic shaping of the building, pulling back the facade, incorporating arcades, open spaces, and the opening up of the inner green courtyard to the street. Both the offices and communal areas feature open spaces and unique design solutions, with Coolfire contributing to the project by fulfilling the fire safety requirements with its fire-rated glazed structures.
Meeting Room Glass Walls: Coolfire BR-EI120 minutes, frameless, segmented fire-rated glass wall; 2mm silicone sealant between the glass panels, covered with aluminum ribs, providing excellent sound insulation. Corridor Fire-Rated Glass Doors: Coolfire-Sapa 74 EI90 minute fire-rated aluminum-framed glazed portal structure with 2 single doors. The system was constructed with fire-rated fittings and sealing, hydraulic closers, automatic threshold, GU 1-point panic lock, stainless steel panic handle-set, and opening limiter. Glass insert: interior, EI90 fire-rated, clear glass. The Coolfire fire-rated structures of the Pillar office building ensure the up-to-date presence of their fire safety functions, extend their lifespan, and guarantee trouble-free daily use through Coolfire's service and maintenance team.
