Therefore, fire-rated and smoke-rated openings, as well as their manufacturing, must meet a number of standards and legal requirements, and proof of compliance must be provided. Alongside these requirements, aesthetic and practical considerations can be taken into account.

The Coolfire – Ponzio PE78 and the in-house developed Coolfire – Sapa74 fire-rated aluminum-framed glass doors and portals are certified product families manufactured by Coolfire. In addition to their fire and/or smoke protection performance, they comply with the performance requirements outlined in the MSZ EN 14351-1 harmonized and MSZ EN 14351-2 non-harmonized product standards, making them suitable for use on facades, indoors, along escape routes, and under high traffic conditions. The verified, applicable size range also offers numerous possibilities for diverse solutions.

MSZ EN 16034 – Entrance doors, industrial, commercial, garage doors, and openable windows Product standard, performance consistency (fire-resistance and/or smoke-tight characteristics) according to the Declaration of Performance certifies the properties and performance of the installed fire-rated doors and windows.

Indoor application - (NMÉ) marking
According to Regulation 305/2011/EU of the European Parliament and Council, and Government Regulation 275/2013 (VII.16.), the performance consistency of fire- and smoke-tight doors and openable windows for indoor applications is confirmed by the National Technical Evaluation (NMÉ), based on fire- and smoke-tight test results from EN 1634-1:2014, EN 1634-2:2014, EN 1634-3:2006, the non-harmonized performance characteristics of EN 14351-2 for interior doors, the classification protocols according to EN 13501-2, and manufacturing surveillance (ÜGYE).
The Declaration of Performance issued based on this confirms the properties and performance of the installed product.
CE marking is NOT applicable for interior doors!
Installed doors and windows must be equipped with “Product Identification Plates,” displaying product identification, the name of the certifying institution, NMÉ, ÜGYE – TÁT serial number.

Available with EI30, EI60, and EI90 fire resistance ratings, the product also has Sa, S200 smoke protection capability, making it suitable for use on escape routes and in high-traffic environments. The structure is designed for intensive use, ensuring long-lasting durability even under heavy demand. Tested to EN standards, it offers exceptional mechanical strength, long-lasting durability, and high impact resistance. Usage class: C5 (200,000 cycles).
Coolfire Kft. manufactures the Coolfire-Sapa74 and Coolfire-Ponzio PE78 fire-rated doors and portals to custom sizes based on design specifications or the final opening dimensions. The aluminum profiles are powder-coated in RAL colors using advanced technology, resulting in a durable and visually appealing finish. The products have been tested and approved for a wide range of size applications, allowing for versatile solutions.

The application of fittings in product structures is subject to strict regulations, with types and brands specified in the Fire Protection Certification. Only fittings tested in conjunction with the system or those meeting EN standards are permitted.
