Walkable fire-rated glass ceiling – Coolfire-LT60

By replacing the fire-rated concrete ceiling with load-bearing REI60 fire-resistant glass, the elegant space was expanded and brightened. Its appearance adds a unique touch to the central hall of the historic palace. The glass ceiling measures 17 m² and consists of 62mm thick glass panels. Thanks to a new development, walkable glass ceilings with REI120 fire resistance are now also applicable, even on exterior facades.

Other fire-rated Coolfire structures used in the Matild Palace meet primary fire safety requirements while maintaining, or even enhancing, the elegant and modern visual appeal, preserving the original architectural features.
