Application:
It can be installed both indoors and facade. Considering the rules, the full configuration can be used for indoor use and glass ceiling, while the partial configuration can be used for facades.
Full configuration (the entire surface is Fireproof wall):
The full configuration of the curtain wall is a test procedure where we determine the Fireproof limit of curtain wall structures consisting of solid fields and Fireproof glazing glass surfaces, or glass surfaces made entirely of fire-rated glazing. Its result may be used to verify compliance with both the horizontal and vertical facade fire spread limit requirements and the horizontal and vertical facade fire barrier.
In the case of the full configuration of a curtain wall, the Fireproof is verified by a test according to the MSZ EN 1364-3 standard. Fireproof limits depending on the value of the facade fire spread limit requirement - for glazed fields: EW 15, 30, 45.
Partial configuration (max 1300 mm high part of the curtain wall system is fire-rated glass field):
It is the test procedure for determining the Fireproof limit of a horizontal curtain wall strip consisting of solid fields and transparent fire-rated glazed surfaces, and of which result can be used to verify compliance both with the vertical facade fire spread limit requirement and the vertical facade fire barrier.In the case of the partial configuration of a curtain wall, the Fireproof is verified by a test according to the MSZ EN 1364-4 standard. Fireproof limits depending on the value of the facade fire spread limit requirement for solid panels and glazed parapet fields: EI 15, 30, 45.

Using the curtain wall system, not only walls but also roof structures can be built. The angle of inclination of the roof structures is at least 15 degrees. These roof structures are not designed for load-bearing, they are intended only for the structural weight and the snow load!
Options for facade:
Facade fire spread protection can also be provided by a frame filling glass wall using a full or partial configuration. Our applied system is Coolfire-Sapa74.
In the case of glass walls, the frame filling is not a load-bearing facade wall system.
- It is Fireproof up to the level of the fire barrier, above that the applied structure is not Fireproof. Requirement: EI15, EI30, EI45.
- In the case of a ceiling between different fire sections, the fire resistance limit of the parapet corresponds to the Fireproof limit of the ceiling, but must not exceed EI90 minutes. The height of the fire barrier used in Hungary is 1300 mm
